LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois and Back 2 School America are partnering together to provide Back 2 School kits to children in need by hosting a Build-A-Kit event at the Center on Halsted. Members of the LGBT Chamber of Commerce, along with corporate affinity groups/ERGs, will come together on October 14, 2022 to assemble school supplies kits and write “Notes of Inspiration."

Companies and individual teams can join in this team building Build-A-Kit to assemble kits for underprivileged kids and write “Notes of Inspiration” to be placed into every kit built. In 2021, we came together and built 1,000 kits given to many kids in need. This year, we hope to help even more kids by building 2,000 kits with your help!

This festive, music-filled, upbeat event will have lunch, snacks, and refreshments available throughout the day. A cash bar will be available as well during the after party.

Volunteers will receive their very own event day t-shirt.
